Collaborative Practice.

Separation and divorce is an incredibly difficult process. Nothing to sugar coat here. Coming to this decision was even harder. What’s next? How can you ensure everyone in your family has their needs addressed in a fair and equitable way? The answer is Collaborative Practice!

A family professional, financial professional and two lawyers (one for each of you) work with you to come to an agreement that supports your entire family. You make the decisions - not a judge who doesn’t know you or your family. What’s stopping you?

Family Mediation.

When there’s conflict, there’s insecurity. Where there’s chaos, there’s anxiety. It’s time to stabilize and begin the shift to harmony. In the Greater Toronto Area, it may take up to two years to be heard in court due to current backlogs - mediation allows you to begin the work now AND keeps you in the driver’s seat. Allow me to support you and your former partner to make decisions around your separation and pave a new road towards peace for your family.

Mediation topics may include decision-making (custody), parenting time (access), child support, spousal support, and division of property.

Counselling.

I provide one to one, online sessions to support you in peeling back the layers of anger, frustration, and resentment. Spoiler alert. It’s rooted in fear, pain and sadness. This is hard stuff. Straight up. But you’re brave. You’re strong. You’re insightful. You wouldn’t be here looking for help if you weren’t.
